BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU PROGRAM

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an amazing full body workout.  The warm up, the drills and the rolling (sparring) will have you feeling awesome at the end of each class. Jiu Jitsu is engaging, fun and captivating.  It’s like CrossFit but with Chokes.  With Jiu Jitsu, you can get in great shape all while learning a potentially lifesaving skill. The number of calories you burn doing drills and sparring in Brazilian jiu jitsu is ridiculous. Brazilian jiu jitsu works out both your anaerobic and aerobic systems, giving you great cardio endurance.  In addition to working on your cardio, the sports also help you build muscles, often in areas that are least developed.

The grappling arts use muscles very rarely used during the day—so it gives you a chance to develop major muscle groups along with muscles that you would not otherwise develop just lifting weights. On top of cardiovascular and muscular strength, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu also gives you increased agility, reflex, and balance.
